Looks like you guys have thought of almost everything. The engine bay that was shown needs a better set up for air intake.

I would love to see the biz analysis that said "lets make sure its NOT a GM or ford bell housing. That will sell so much better." This engine is only missing 2 things: a sane bell housing pattern, and more widespread Ca or EPA approval. I wish cummins would care about either one.

Gotta give the man credit, idk if any auto maker would take their auto and do this today. Most wouldn't make it a full day. So many are crap. I get tired of telling customers that their not too old auto is needing major repairs so soon in life. Especially the 2.4 chrysler engines. What turds. And the kias. It seems since kung floo that they use the cheapest parts they can and charge a kidney for plastic. Or the stainless hi pressure fuel lines barely 4.5 inches long that are NOT reusable and cost $100 each. Or any thay use a dial for gear shifter and has a parking brake made of a switch so that when u have any battery or charging problem they both get stuck on. Lovely towing. Miss the simpler times.

My 5.9 24v just rolled over 300k. If it ever fails I’ll replace the engine before I replace the truck. Love my Cummins

How can you have an interception car?

I used to hate diesels, I thought they were slow and belonged in tractors. Yeah I was that stupid up to the year 2006 and that years edition of 24 hours of Le Mans. During the race I noticed a couple of silver and red painted cars from Audi which were faster and could go more laps than anybody else on the track before going to pitstop. I listened to the mighty V12 TDI which didn't even break a sweat while going 220 mph on the mulsanne straight. Since that day, I've loved diesel engines and my car is a diesel. I love this diesel indycar and the engine sounds fantastic 👍🙂

We have to be careful what we say in this day and age because it is recorded forever in videos such as this. At the :34 sec point a young woman makes the statement " Insuring that everything we do leads to a cleaner, healthier, safer environment." That may have been true then, but yesterday the announcement was made that Cummins has agreed to pay a $1.65B fine imposed by the EPA for "cheating" on emissions on about a million B-Series engines sold to Dodge for their pickup trucks. U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland is quoted as saying" preliminary estimates suggest that defeat devices on some Cummins engines have caused them to produce thousands of tons of excess nitrogen oxides." EPA Administrator Michael Regan is quoted as having said" vulnerable communities are more likely to reside near highways where theses harmful emissions are concentrated, making this agreement critical to advancing our environmental justice agenda." This is one reason why global environmental emission reductions to combat global warming will not succeed because of companies like Cummins who refuse to comply in all areas where they have control. Such a shame.

I could see this info partially viable with a higher rear gear set, as in a company snail P.O.S. and completely inaccurate for owner ops with a lower rear set meant for making money not time

Alright, I've got a question. Why do y'all sell an engine that can hurt itself from the factory? I mean any big truck motor, but I found your channel first. If it's not meant to rev about 1800. Why in the world does the gauge go to 3500? What's the point?

This hunk of junk has been passed around more than a slutty high school cheerleader. It’s spent more time in the shop than on the road. Currently on a shortline in N. Carolina where it was last photographed…..yep, dead and not moving.
